Every week, the PES Group in the European Committee of the Regions collects the most important measures taken by the EU institutions to counter the COVID-19 pandemic and shares them with its members. Since the start of the pandemic, our livelihoods have changed rapidly. To counterbalance these changes, the EU is constantly adopting new initiatives and measures to fight the harmful consequences the virus is already having in our lives.
Due to the swiftness of the EU response to the pandemic, we understand that it is sometimes difficult to follow every piece of news at such a fast pace. This is why we have decided to share a weekly Digest on the EU Response to the COVID-19 pandemic with all of you. Our aim is to help all local and regional elected representative to follow the latest political initiatives taken at the European level and to inform them about useful initiatives, events and readings. It is the least we can do, given the fact they are the ones fighting this battle on the frontline. Every bit of information is helpful, and we are here to provide it to you.
All the documents are available in five different languages: English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.
