  • Important notice for Members and Alternates of the European Committee of the Regions:

 

  • Daily allowances are foreseen for

- Thursday- 10 September (conditioned on the full attendance of the study visit, leaving from the City Hall at 17:45 and the participation in the Group meeting on Friday 11 September)

- Friday- 11 September (PES Group meeting and conference 09:00 – 13:00)

  • Transport

- As the city is well connected with public transport from Athens international airport and car traffic from the airport to the city can be heavy, no shuttle service will be provided by the host.

 

There are several options to reach the city centre:

Metro: Line 3 (Blue line) – travel time 40-45 minutes – around 10€ on way – every 30 minutes from 6:30 am to 23:30.

Bus: ​ Express Bus X95 – travel time 60-90 minutes (depending on traffic) – around 6€ on way – every 15 to 30 minutes – runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Taxi: ​ travel time 40-70 minutes (depending on traffic) – €40 daytime / €55 night (flate rate to central Athens).
