Today the Party of European Socialists Group (PES Group) in the European Committee of the Regions is launching its new logo, which reflects our vision of a more progressive, sustainable Europe, rooted in its territories and proud of its diversity.
Commenting on the launch, PES Group President Christophe Rouillon said: “Europe is facing many pressing challenges, such as growing inequalities, the climate emergency, violence against women, disinformation and the Russian aggression against Ukraine. They all require bold political action. As progressive locally and regionally elected politicians from across the European Union, we stand for a more social and sustainable Europe that respects freedom and is more culturally aware, a Europe from which everyone can benefit. With the launch of our new logo, our vision goes visual. It sends a clear message: recovery, justice and progress start on the ground, in the 100,000 cities, towns and regions of the European Union!”
