Join us for a feminist walk through the heart of Brussels, exploring how gender, race and identity shape the way we experience and occupy public space.
Our tour will be guided by Stéphanie Ngongo, City Councillor in Sint-Joost-ten-Node, Brussels Region, who will take us through the Parc Royal and its surroundings, reflecting on feminism, racial discrimination and everyday experiences in the city.
We’ll meet at 10:45 for a warm coffee at MAISON AMAZONE, Rue du Méridien 10,1210 Bruxelles, before setting off for a one-hour walk. Along the way, we’ll look at who is visible, who feels safe, whose stories are represented, and whose experiences are often overlooked — and ask what a truly inclusive, feminist city could look like.
Please note that the walk will be conducted in English only.
Come walk with us, look at Brussels differently, and rethink who the city belongs to.
